Dale and Sue Friesen had a wild idea of growing grapes. They shopped around to

find the right land with a southern exposure to grow their grapes. On South Heart Lake Rd

South of Shell Lake they found the perfect spot. So as history goes they purchase the property

in 2004, and started planting in 2005.

We are located approx. 4 miles south of Shell Lake WI. Just off Hwy 63, on S. Heart Lake Rd.

We have planted 1000 plants consisting of Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Blue Bell, Marquette,

Swanson Red, and Somerset.

We are commercial growers, however, home wine makers, jelly and juice makers are

always welcome.
